DIGITAL VS OFFSET
Digital Printing services a completely different niche compared to offset, while main-taining equal print quality. Offset printing caters for long runs of static products - i.e., the information on each page is the same. Digital Printing allows for extremely short runs (eg. just a few flyers as well as for dynamic content. Digital is also a lot faster than offset, allowing jobs to be done in hours or less.

Digital printing makes it economical to produce just a few items with very short notice. VARIABLE DATA PRINTING
Our HP5500 Indigo Digital Press is perfect for variable data printing. Variable data printing is a form of on-demand printing in which elements such as text, graphics and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next, without stopping or slowing down the printing process and using information from a database or external file. For example, a set of personalized letters, each with the same basic layout, can be printed with a different name and address on each letter. Variable data printing is mainly used for direct marketing, customer relationship management, advertising and invoicing on self-mailers, brochures or postcard campaigns.
